Responsible Wood featured on page 13 in AWISA national magazine
Responsible Wood, Australia’s largest forest certification scheme was recently featured in page 13 of the Australian Woodworking Industry Suppliers Association (AWISA) magazine.
Showcasing the Nest’d™ ‘Kids Under Cover’, Responsible Wood features prominently within a publication that is distributed extensively throughout the woodworking community.
Highlighting the importance of targeting specifiers and end consumers of timber based products with case studies Responsible Wood Marketing and Communications Officer, Jason Ross, emphasised the importance of forest certification in demonstrating the sustainable credentials of timber materials.
“Timber is good but certified timber is even better. Responsible Wood is a ‘trust mark’ that verifies the origins of timber and ensures that timber is sourced from a forest that meets environmental and social benchmarks for forest management.”
“The AWISA magazine has extensive reach in the Australasian woodworking community, with a distribution that includes more than 14,000 end users of timber based products.”
“Responsible Wood now has an extensive library of case studies that we continue to develop, all available to download from our website,” Mr Ross said.
