Know a deserving community project? Encourage them to apply for a Responsible Wood 2026 Community Grant!
Through the program, regional and rural community groups may apply for grants of $2,000 to $15,000 to deliver local forest-based projects that provide benefits to both communities and the forests they rely on.
Last year, we received applications for projects like interpretive forest signage, nature play spaces, Indigenous-led restoration, ecological surveys driven by local volunteers, habitat protection, trailers for collecting fallen timber for repurposing in community initiatives, skills development and youth programs grounded in forest connection, to name just a few. And we’re looking forward to learning more about projects in our communities in 2026!
Applications close at 11pm Thursday 12 November.
