Standards Procedures
Responsible Wood is accredited as a standards development organisation (SDO) by the Standards Development and Accreditation Committee (SDAC) of Standards Australia.
SDAC has established procedures for standards development organisations and audits Responsible Wood for compliance with these procedures:
- Requirements for Accreditation of Standards Development Organisations (SDAC-001 Version 2.2 17 July 2019)
- Style Manual for Accredited Standards Development Organisations (SDOs)
Responsible Wood procedures in place (see right) to ensure that the two Australian Standards for which Responsible Wood is responsible (AS4707 and AS4708) are reviewed and maintained in accordance with the requirements set down by Standards Australia.
