‘Celebrating timber in all its grains’
It was a night of glitz, glamour and good old fashioned razzmatazz as industry suppliers, merchants, retailers and fabricators mingled at the TABMA National Timber Industry Dinner in Sydney on Friday October 26, 2018.
Set before the backdrop of Darling Harbour, the dinner was hosted in Hyatt Regency Ballroom with laughs provided by the lively Three Waiters ® trio.
Attending on behalf of Responsible Wood, a bronze sponsor of the event, Jason Ross said that TABMA members remain strong supporters of Responsible Wood certification scheme.
“The Responsible Wood logo is the only mark ensuring that timber meets Australian standards for environmental certification, hundreds of TABMA merchants are involved in the Responsible Wood scheme through our Chain of Custody scheme.
Chain of Custody ensures that timber managed in the forest meets environmental and social checks through the supply chain. If you want to ensure that your timber comes from a sustainable source, in Australia, Responsible Wood is a must”.
TABMA CEO Colin Fitzpatrick, a longstanding director of Responsible Wood, stood down as a director after 6 years of service at the Responsible Wood AGM held in Brisbane on Tuesday, October 23, 2018
