Responsible Wood was proud to support Timber Queensland and WoodSolutions’ “Queensland Timber Trajectory: Award Winning Exemplars Showcasing the Way to Modern Construction” event, hosted by the ARC Advance Timber Hub.
Attended by a cross section of developers, architects and other built environment professionals, the day showcased how delivery teams behind award-winning projects are working with their clients to leverage timber and achieve better outcomes through smarter design, faster construction and improved project efficiency.
Our CEO Simon Dorries was also on hand to share PEFC International’s Project Sourcing Certification, which provides an independently verified framework for project teams to demonstrate responsible sourcing, supply chain transparency and compliance with procurement requirements.
The event was held at the The University of Queensland’s GHD Auditorium, which features a spectacular display of Responsible Wood-certified timber.
Responsible Wod’s involvement in this event is two-fold, demonstrating both our commitment to encouraging the use of certified timber across the built environment, and growing industry capability though access to education.
